Check out the Audio forum. You find a some positive reviews on a couple of aftermaket hard wired ipod connectors. Folks have posted install instructions too. Seems like an easu DIY job.
I tried the wireless ones and took them all back.
Seems no ones knows when the GM solution will be out.
iPod/MP3 jack included on all sound systems except navigation (Personal Audio Link available as accessory for navigation system). Unless you buy the 2008 amp/radio with it's built-in input and swap it for your 05 system, I don't think there is an IPOD solution that's worth a toot for the OEM 05 C6 radio system (and I'm betting an aftermarket radio system with IPOD input would be cheaper/better than GM's stuff, even if it is Bose). HTH.

I came very close to changing my OEM nav for the Pioneer but decided to put the money HP mods. I think I see a Pioneer in my future after 4.10's, heads and cam.
So there is no way to wire a ipod jack? No rca inputs in the back of the system? No one has a wired in Ipod in there vette instead of using the crappy modulators? What a drag!!

I had an IPOD wired into my 2005 Coupe (1SB w/ NAV) with the JL Audio Cleansweep. Sounds MILES better than the RF modulators. No remote control of the IPOD but does provide power. Others have complained that it is expensive.... I have 5000+ tunes in my ride. I don't care what it costs.
On my '07 coupe stock radio, I notice the CD button has the word "aux" written on it also, is there an RCA jack on the back of the radio that I could hook an iPod into?
Connects directly to any aftermarket or factory radio that supports auxiliary audio and/or video input. The integrated cable terminates in left, right and composite video male RCA outputs with power and ground connections for charging the iPod while docked. All control of music is performed from the iPod itself. Fits in OEM cupholder location.
Might give them a buzz...
michael d keighley (member here) has one w/nav....not sure if it does or does not require the XM...but the descript doesn't mention it.
I bought the Spec PA11 unit. I am having it installed Wednesday, I'll post up my thoughts then. I am HOPING that it works as well as it is supposed to.
