Default How much Oil?
The OM for my 2007 vert says 5.5qts of oil. Does this include filter change or do you need to add an additional .5qts?

my dealer added 7 qts, go figure, I always added 6 w/filter

You will get the standard "RTFM" answers here from lots of "helpful" folks. But the whole answer seems to be YMMV. On MY car, it takes 6 QTS to fill to the full line with a filter change. My manual says it should only take 5.5 QTS. 14K miles and no problems. Heck, the manual even says you can add extra oil before a HPDE then to drain some out afterwards so I really don't think an extra 1/2 quart will hurt.
