does the c6 have the computer or pcm, mounted in the same positon and manner as in the c5s causing the same connection problems?

The C6 Engine Control Module (ECM) is in the Passenger side wheel well behind the inner fender panel. If you have an auto trans the trans module is attached to the ECM. The Body Control Module (BCM) is under the Passenger side floor, accessible by pulling the carpet back.

one possible problem is sounds like the c5 ecm is mounted in the same location as the c6, under the battery. the c5 is natorius (sp?) for connections going bad. costed me thousands before it was resolved.
