Default Another Raceramp Question

Are Raceramp "XT's" and "Rollups", in conjunction with each other, ideal to do exhaust and oil changes on Z51's. Saw in the search's that they (Brute) has a pic of C6 rolled back onto them. I'm not that big but still want the car off the ground as much as possible to be able to do the work.

Need to get my new Borla on and it's time for the first oil change. I really don't know if I want to take a chance and take it anywhere to get them done.

Oil changes yes, exhaust change maybe, if you roll up the 10" 65" length ramps in the rear. you really need 27 inches from floor to bottom of rear valance to get the stock rear section out. That's pretty high!!!
I used the northern tool cross beam adapter to get the rear up high enough myself. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...=47686&R=47686

look up the jacking proceedure here, and save yourself the big money on those race ramps. the cheapo rhino ramps for $20 as walmart work fine for the front, a couple 2x10' 2 ft sections for the rear, and this cross beam adapter for your craftsman hydralic jack, and your go to go for about anything.

jacking procedure here: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...hlight=lifting

i just ran up the rhino ramps in front, three pieces of 2x10x2ft's on each side in the rear to get it high enough to get the cross beam/jack under, and presto chango....

total cost..... $25 ramps, 1 2x10 $15, cross beam adapter $30, and I already had the jack, but even then its a whole lot less than those expensive ramps... Oh, and dont worry that the rubber spoiler in the front rubs the ramps, it wont hurt anything.
