Flowmasters Anyone?
I was just wondering if anyone was running flowmasters on there C6 and if they liked them. The price is much better on them than all the others. I think 1,000.00+ for something that really does not improve performance that much is a little exspensive. Well I was just wanting some advise on these before ordering.

There are so many threads here on the subject, you can get all the information you need. Do a broad search on Flowmaster and get an eye full. Incidently, I run the flowmasters and I love them.

I did the research and found they are cheaper because they are an axle-back system, instead of a cat-back system. My buddy at Edelbrock and I installed the system in about 2-hours and they sound good - not great, but good. A little drone inside at certain speeds (my car is an auto). Louder than stock, but you really don't notice the signature "Flowmaster gurgle" until you use the paddles and feather the throttle ...... in "drive" mode you have to be in the throttle hard to really know the difference ... otherwise it sounds louder than stock. For the difference in price to a Corsa or Borla system, I feel like I got my money's worth .......

i have them on my mn6,and they sound great! Great idle,quiet cruise,and they sound outstanding when you rev match your downshifts.It is a thrill to sit at a light and just blip the throttle.I have the two tip system and like the look of the 4" tips.
