I've been looking at the Callaway for my '04. Went to the Callaway Website and viewed the sound clips of the DD exhaust. From the reviews I've read about the other cat back systems out there, my money is on the Callaway.
As far as the space left due to the DD design, Corvette Central offers a Filler Panel $285.00 that looks great and gives it a very finished look

You can go to their Website corvettecentral.com or call 1-800-345-4122. Looking at the amount of area needed to be painted, you could get the panel air brushed and clear coated if you can match the paint. That would save $$ if done right.

I heard the Callaway and thought it sounded great! I just can't take a liking to the tips. If they offered tips similiar to stock, I would have been a Callaway customer years ago...
