Pipe Diameter?
Hey all,
Just wondering, what were the pipe ID and ODs on the base model C6 exhaust? I want to pick up a couple of Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers and slap em on for a little better sound. Also, I noticed that the axleback exhaust parts are being held together with V-band clamps, does this mean I could just clamp the appropriate muffler right on there with little effort?

The pipe size is 2 1/2in. and the over axle pipes and mufflers are one piece, (The mufflers are welded to the pipes)and are slip fit into the X-pipes and held with 1in. band clamps...............Normally........... ...
What would I do without the internet haha
