Default 2007 vs 2008

I was told the 2008 C6 was going to have 40 more HP than the 2007.

Can anyone confirm and tell what is the difference is between the cars.

Thanks, Ricky

It's 30hp and 36hp if you order the optional dual mode exhaust system that works like the Z06.

Thanks! So if it was up to you would you get a 2007 now or wait for 2008?

I am thinking about buying one and not sure if I should wait for the 2008 or try to deal on a 2007.

Might be better to wait for the 08 at this point unless your saving a good deal of $ on an 07.

In my opinion it's a tough call. The 08 has a new interior option too. It's up to you it is worth giving up the rest of the summer waiting for your 08. Besides some modest price increases for 08, I would guess that there won't be the steep discounts we're seeing on 07's right now.

07 discounts + have it now <> 08 features + price bump + wait till summer is over.

2008 will have the new LS3 motor....that's where the added hp comes from. There will be some cosmetic changes, but biggest deal will be the LS3. If you're not in a hurry, I would say wait for an '08.
