Default Question for you guys...

I'm thinking of selling my VARARAM and going back to the stock intake setup.I want to leave the cut shroud on with the stock boxes.QUESTION:
Any downside to that as far as computer readings ,ck.engine lights and all that type of stuff??Thanks. No issues w/the ram, just like to change up every so often.Thanks.

The only way to know for sure is to try it. My concern would also be too much cold air might not reach the radiator. Just a thought.

You mean to much air into the motor or not enough?

I didn't work that very well. I would worry that not enough air would reach the radiator meaning too much air would go through the shroud hole and into the air cleaner area and not provide adequate cooling. Again, the only way to know for sure would be to try it.

Now I understand.I guess I can tell if that's happening by my coolant temps being up there...

Not really sure that I am.I'm just thinking about going back to stock setup for a while. No reason in particular, other than my own restlessness!

Ya Know, i wouldn`t sweat the small stuff. As long as you check the Vararam once in awhile and see everthing is fine i would stay with it. I mean i also read that post from another member here and i feel that it was all about not paying ATTENTION to aftermarket parts. I have always checked it and i always check things and i haven`t had ONE PROBLEM. If you take the time to pre-trip things i think you will find that the system is just fine. Good Luck
