Those of you that installed the Koni FSD shocks and noticed a slight drop in ride height, [ more frequent air dam road contact ], To get back to original ride height , did you find you had to turn adj. bolts beyond the max limit specified in the shop manual ? I like the lower stance but the roads around here are going to wreck the air dam and the nose as well........any feedback on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance........ Revak [ with the bolts turned to max recommended raised setting, car is still short of original height by around 3/8" ].
I notice an infrequent contact sound like front tires hitting the wells during aggressive downhill turns while hitting a bump or road imperfection. Is it possible the tires are hitting the well? I have not readjusted the height. I love these shocks otherwise. Any ideas?
The BlueCoupe is about 1/2" lower on all four corners, and I kind of like it like this. Don't know if the mechanic played with the adjustment bolts or not.
The airdam does touch much more frequently now, but I like the slightly lower look, and I love the ride and handling now. Big improvement to the Z51 stock suspension. I think that the FSDs have tamed the springs sufficiently to achieve near perfection.
