Thanks, that is what I thought...I am looking at used Z06 but the passenger side emblem is way out of level compared to drivers side and photos on Internet..I surmise car has been hit and repaired and body shop messed that up.. give me your opinion please..
Thanks..

Then...what is the hole for in the Z06 fenders? It's one hole, round with a slot.

No.. I mean..if your car got hit and had to have Z06 emblem replaced, and when they put new emblem on...would there be guile holes on side as there is for front and rear emblems which I have seen..in other words... do the stock fenders have guide holes for alignment or is it eyeball?

Behind the Z06 badge there is a design to go by that would match the hole Its located right behind the Z put emblem close to the fender factory hole and there is kinda like a guide on the Z06 factory emblem.

Ok..let's see here..so what I am getting is that there is not two alignmet holes but only one position hole and you need to eyeball it for level... I know on the front..I had it repainted and where they took off old emblem there were two holes and all they had to do was take off the tape and put the two male prongs on emblem in the holes and everyting was level to the world...I guess it is not like that for the side Z06 emblem..only position hole..???? please clarify...

Here is a photo of an OEM Z06 front fender shown from the backside. As you can see, there is 1 hole.

The hole in the side is for a European parking light. On USA models, they put the badge over the hole. On European models it is stuck on the fender just above the parking light that is installed in that hole. The reason the badge is mis-aligned may be due to alot of reasons other than crash repair. Original may have been stolen by vandals, or just come loose and been slapped back on. Would do a carfax to see if repaired. As pricey as the stock Z06 fenders are its probable that it wasn't repaired out of pocket.
