I started my 06 C6 this afternoon and noticed that the air conditioner console was blinking. I turned off the air and the outside temp indicator remained blinking. I stopped the car and restarted after a few minutes and all was normal again.
Has anyone seen this before and should I be concerned?
Thanks,
Dave

This indicates an (intermittent) fault in the system.

Mine started doing that about six months ago. Then sometimes it would go completely blank. Sometimes wacky combination of LCD symbols would appear. Sometimes some or all of the controls would quit working.
Now it almost never works properly.
I tried removing the console and cleaning the connectors. No effect whatsoever.
The dealer I'm going to for my delaminated roof claims to have seen this problem before; the solution was to replace the HVAC console unit. They've ordered a new one for me.
I have noticed on my 2006 coupe that if I start it up on a hot day and press the recirculate button before the air cond. fan system gets to max. speed, it will kind of lock up the electronics. I have to turn the AC system off and restart it. If I allow the system to start up and stabilize on its own I do not have this problem. I think pushing the recirculate button prematurely confuses the electronics in my case. I understand that this is probably not related to your issue.....just thought I would throw it out there.

Same here, I took it in and they replaced the whole unit under waranty.

I have a 2007 C6 and the blinking temp light on the console just happened to me for the 2nd time. Car is now out of warranty so I guess I just wait to see what happens.
I have had an ac problem ever since I moved to hot weather. I took it into Chevrolet dealer. Symptoms were: Console blinking, outside air temperature wrong. 100 outside console read 76. They replaced the outside air sensor. Got the car back and no different. Outside air still reading wrong. AC not working right. Sometimes works sometimes not. Mostly not. Took it back and this time they replaced the climated control console and outside air sensor again. Worked good for about a day or two. Now it is back to not working most the time. Blows cold then hot then cool then hot. Seems if I push a button on the console it starts working but not for long. Maybe the compressor relay needs to be changed. Anyone had these symptoms.
