I have an 05 with Z51 / 6sp, and am experiencing a disturbing loud rattle when letting the clutch out. It's not the clutch, even though it is not as smooth as I think it should be, but sounds like the drive shaft is loose or the U-joints bad or something. When turning, in 2nd gear, sometimes the rattle is continuous until i straighten out. Also, when turning in 1rst gear, like in the driveway, something is going on with the rear wheels, which leads me to believe that it could be the clutch paks. I've had the diff fluid replaced per the TSB and resolved the issue that most of us have had, but this is different. Has anyone else experienced this?
Me too, me too, but I haven't the slightest what to do. I'm afraid that the dealer will want the car for god knows how long to diagnose it and then they'll promtly fix the wrong thing.
Thanks for responding! Now I know I'm not alone.
I'm taking mine in tomorrow and plan to drive it for my mechanic; something is wrong and just don't believe it's me.
I also can't believe that we are the only ones to experience this. This has been posted for a few days with 60+ reviews and only your reponse; is everybody else just lucky or in denial. This is not normal.

Was this an issue before you had the diff fluid replaced?
