07 vert has dead short somewhere. Dealer is trying to find but no luck. They also tried to upgrade computer, now it's broken as well. They want to give me a rental car, I insist on a Vette, they won't do it.
Need to contact Regional GM Rep. Anyone have phone numbers for central Illinois Rep?

Your dealer will contact GM and don't hold your breath for a Corvette loaner. I'm sure it's never been done.
Typical deal. They don't fix your car, so you get frustrated and move to an extreme position. I was the same way when my car broke on the way home from buying it and sat on the side of the road for 5 hours.
The good news is, my replacement car has been fine.

I don't know if this helps or not but I had a similar problem on my '03 Coupe w/LS1 and they traced it back to my starter. Once it was replaced, problem went away.
