Default Strange smell

Took my C6 out for a ride today for the first time in about 5 weeks (been busy working) After I drove it in the garage there was an odor similar to burnt fluid coming from the differential area. Is it because I haven't driven it in a while?? There is no puddling/leaking. I had no issues while driving it. ................Thanks

Look under the rear of the car and see if you see a damp spot on the left side near the top of the differential. That's the vent area and on a hot day and spirited driving it can vent a little oil. Mine did on a long hight speed, hot weather trip.

If you look close you can see it on the top, to the left and about an inch lower than the black cable on top.
