Hey guys!
JOIN THE CLUB! Take advantage of the absolute best "BANG FOR THE BUCK" mod available for your Corvette. Enjoy, as so many others have, TONS OF STUMP PULLING TORQUE while maintaining all the smoothness and class your car had the day it was new.
Unfortunately, the shop is too busy to build rears on a "while you wait" basis. This was inconvenient for out of state customers who travel great distances to get here.
Presently, we have nearly 20 getrag rear end cores covering the 97-04 C5, 05 C6 only, 06 and newer, and even 06 and later Z06 rear end cores.
What this means is that we can offer both local and out of state customers a turnaround of only a few hours start to finish, or SAME DAY SERVICE. When you call us to place your order, our "core" diff will be built to your specs and ready and waiting when you arrive.
We hope that this service will make it easier for "out of state" customers to get here for one of our favorite services.
DON'T BE MISLEAD! Horsepower is not what you're after...BIG TORQUE is where the THRILL COMES FROM!!!
TORQUE DOES! For the guy that doesn't want the expense or hassle of a cam, heads, or supercharger and wants 1000% reliability with the same start/driveability manners and class that their car had the day it was new...YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR REAR END. Nothing builds torque from the bottom of the RPM range right to the top like a 4.10 REAR END JOB!
Additionally, obviously 06 and 07 cars are still warrantied and likely going to be visiting the dealership service dept some time soon.
If you're looking for TONS OF POWER and are not yet willing to make obvious changes to the car for warranty reasons....YOU NEED THE "HOLY CoW HD 4.10 REAR END"
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE FORUM IF YOU OWN AN 06/07 ZO6...We have a REAR END FOR YOU GUYS TOO!
Thanks for taking the time to read.
PLEASE CALL THE SHOP @ 914-332-0049

let me guess Chuck, this is what I should do instead of the Cheatr cam --right?
What about gas mileage with the high rpms?
What about the A6?
What would an A6 tach at 70mph in 6th?
Would this complement a cam change?
Other than the gears is anything else replaced?
Cost $$

Before tearing into the engine, I would definately consider gears first. That's what I did. Chuck's your man.

what are the negatives with an A6?
Hotter running trans?
First gear that gets you only 15 yards down the road before it shifts into 2nd under normal driving?
Dont get me wrong. I am interested.

GEARS BEFORE CAM...YES. If you're thinking "cheater cam"....don't bother. I like cams., don't get me wrong, but....look at the post by Frank just below yours....You won't be sorry if you do the rear first....
Fuel mileage with gears hardly changes (another long explanation required here) and NO there are no HIGH cruise rpm's...This is why I offer rears.... You can't beat em' for the price, durability/reliability, and power to dollar ratio!
HOLD ON TIGHT....We're building a few A6 rears right now for testing, and we're expecting to be able to answer all your A6 questions VERY soon!
Yes, a rear end would complement a cam....it always does.... but, BE REALLY SMART....Get the rear FIRST, then the cam.... Reason is...if you get a big cam first, then the rear.....You might not need that much power (trust me, it's possible).....
If you get the rear first, usually, you only need small cam to get you where you want to be and then you're not stuck with a lopey cam and crapy idle.

Hey man.... I'll let you know as soon as I see one! Really, I don't expect there to be a big difference if there is a difference at all....

Chuck did my 4.10's very happy with them no issues..Like he said, you might not want a cam swap after. The car feels like you gained 60hp from the SOFP aspect. Definitely the mod before the cam..

Chuck, I have an 05 A4 automatic with Corsa, X-pipe, Vararam. Presently have 3.15 rear. Want to get you to do a tune for me as well. Does the tune change with the 4.10 rear?
What results could I expect with the Tune & the 4.10
Thanks

Huge Gains!
Reason is that the sticks have a bit more of an overdrive and cut the cruise rpms down a bit as well....
It is not necessary to tune a stick car when you do gears, but.....if you put gears in an auto car...IT'S A MUST!
Yeah, let me tell you.... The GEARS & TUNE will really do you right!
Call me any time!

Here's the deal...Typically, we like to install 4.10's in sticks and 3.90's in A4 cars.....

I got it!
Hey man.... No idea on pricing yet, however we've had some custom parts manufactured to build a strong and reliable A6... Some time this coming week the final production part should be tested and tuned.
We'll set it up as a turn key package for mail order or as a complete "in shop" product.
STAY TUNED!

p.s. By the way John....We're coming to VEGAS for SEMA...I'm talking with some guys about a TRAVEL n- TUNE trip to VEGAS either before or after the SEMA event....Let's try to set something up!
