Default Getting headers on A6 do I need.......

I was told if I didn't get the Corsa A6 H-pipes with the resonators it will drone like no end. My consern is the with the No drone H pipe it will be to tame. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on this issue? The headers are to add preformance and goog sound

What to do?

Most of the top headers (LG, Kooks, ARH, Melrose) all come with an X-pipe, so if you want to run the Corsa H pipe, you'll need to head to a muffler shop and do some welding.

I run LG Pro Long Tubes with their high flow cats, their 3" X-pipe, and the adapters to the stock catback and it sounds good. No Drone.

It's all personal preference with the sound. I have A6 LT's and bullets and the drone doesn't bother me. But I can see why it would bother most. I don't drive on the interstates much, and that's where it is the worst with my set-up.

No drone and sounds mean.
H-pipe is only little gain over the resonators (H-pipe is still bigger pipe)
Hope this helps

Like Glen said, the only headers that will mate to the Corsa's H pipe and still have cats are the Kooks. You have to buy their cats that are designed to mate to the Corsa H pipe. BB headers will mate, but you'll lose the cats. I have LG's mated to a Zoomers x-pipe with cats, resonators, and Corsa Sports, but it's custom.

I have Kooks headers with high flow cats, which mate up perfectly with the Corsa Exhaust #14167, which is their model specific for the A6 transmission. This Corsa model has the resonators, they sound great, and there is NO drone, no fabricating is necessary, everything fits fine...

I have the same set up as TRJ. These part numbers will all mate up with no issues and NO DRONE !!!! Kooks headers ( 6600EX ) Cats ( 6115CC ) and Corsa Sports ( 14167 ). I also had my headers Jet Hot coated. Throw in a CAI, 160 stat and a tune and you will be a happy camper !

Sounds great! Those wheels are amazing too! Are those stock sizes or wider, and is that the charcoal or black powder coating?

Great looking and sounding Corvette!
