Default ANYONE who can help, please do...

I just got my Halltech stinger SSM. I have installed two stingers on C5's but this is my first C6. I read the instructions, watched the video on Halltechs site and I still can't get the damn MAF into the air bridge. Yes, I have it facing the right direction. I have everything ready to install and this has my stuck. What did y'all do that already have yours installed that I am not doing. The C5's I had took me ~6-7 min. total to install. I have been working on just the MAF for 52 min now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am about to throw it in the street and and hope somebody hits it..

Seriously? Will that not be bad for anything electrical after the install?

Tried it, then tried just a touch of vasoline. Nothing. This thing is not budging. I think the MAF is too big, it isn't even close to going in.....

Just installed mine a couple of days ago, and had the same problem. I got my on by placing my sensor on the floor with a towel under it, then I took the air bridge and while standing directly over it with steady even presure with both hands, pushed it downward on to the sensor, worked great for me, hope this helps.

This sounds a lot like the way I did mine. They fit tight but they do fit.

Thanks for all the help. That worked!!! Now the only problem is that I actually did get the wrong connector from the MAF to the Throttle body. I got the 4" i.d. on both sides, must be the one for the Z06 killer bee cause my MAF just falls right out of the thing. Emailed Jim Hall, he is going to get everything straightened out ASAP for me!!!!
