Depends on fitment issues wit ur wheels. Stop- techs look great and are super brakes but need z06 front wheel spacing. willwoods dont need as much room and need a small spacer for stck or no spacer on most aftermarket. download the templates from their web sites. also look at AP brakes

I went with Stoptechs and have been very happy, but I was replacing the wheels anyway and got a smokin deal from Anthony at LGM on the full BBK. Performance wise - Stoptech has all that and a box of chocolate. They are sweet.

Went with LGM G2 spindle ducts for cooling. Works very well.

Two very happy years with my Wilwoods set thus far; great stopping power, no fading, no brake squeal, no dust...best damn mod I've done considering it's stopped me from wrinkling paint! George, if you want a second opinion ask Gev, he knows how well they perform. You can't go wrong either with StopTechs or Brembos; these are top notch performers. Good luck buddy!

Brembo looks like its 4 piston, when the others are 6. Does this make much of a difference?

Brembo makes a six piston and eight piston caliper as well.
I am very happy with my 4 piston Brembo's they perform flawlessly with incredible feel and stopping ability.
The six piston versions look very cool though.

We are a dealer for both products, and both are fantastic. If you are not an avid, advanced road racer, I would recommend Wilwoods. I personally have Stop Tech's on my Road race car and love them, but they are much more expensive and larger, pad changes are double the price and so on.
For street use either product will Way over brake what a street tire can hold so it really is not necessary to over brake the car unless you just like the look of the Stop Tech's better.
We have the Wilwoods in stock and ready to ship if your interested, along with the most competitive pricing around on them, feel free to call or PM.

I am planning on using this car for racing only, no street use. I was thinking about the 4piston brembos, but would I be better of with the stoptechs?

The 6 cycl brembos I believe are double the price someplace around $10k, is that really worth it?

Doug, why do pad changes for Stop Techs cost twice as much as Wilwoods? And, what does "and so on" mean? Thanks!

We should see if we can get a group buy together from one of these companies for a front BBK. Someone can probably put something together in the $1400 range for Wilwoods and $1600-$1700 for Brembo 4piston 1 piece or the StopTech similar. I can get the Brembo 4pot 1 piece caliper for under 2k.

Works for me. You can buy the Wilwood kits (6-piston) for about $1496 from several sources without a group buy.
