If I remember correctly, the 2006 A6 was rated at 570ftlb. I'm fairly sure my recolection is correct but that was 18 months ago.

GM rates it at 430 ft./lbs. Any google search will show this.

Aprreciate your help on trans figures. Here is some numbers I found on the 6L80. The last number was one that really had me guessing before I posted. I wish someone please explain the difference between max engine torque and max gearbox torque. I had two numbers in my mind and rounded it back from 670 to 570 because of several sources quoted conflicting numbers, maybe these numbers explain the conflict. The numbers found for the 6L80 trans are:

Max engine power: 413bHP (308KW),
Max engine torque: 430 lb-ft (583Nm), &
Max gearbox torque: 664 lb-ft (900Nm)

Appreciate anyone chiming in on the definition of "gearbox" torque.

Thanks

I'm still searching TRJ, but I do remember it was 670 pound feet. I thought it was kind of high also.

From a picture I saw all servos, etc. are located inside the transmission and are not easily gotten to. It doesn't look good.
