Default C6 Sputter problem

OK, about 4000 miles ago I installed Dynotech Headers, GHL's, and Honker CAI. Everything has been good until yesterday problems started.
When in a high gear (4,5,6) at a low rpm 1000-1800 and step on it, I get a sputter or jerking. It all stops when I hit RPM and up. It still runs great other than that.
Could it be because I haven't had it tunned yet?

I am taking it to the dealer for an oil change today and let them take a quick look at it. Or maybe I should just let my local tuner look at it and tune it if he thinks that is the issue?

no, stock tune work not do this, know too many people with headers running on stock tune. my guess is you have a plug wire that is slightly loose.

Tuning definitely works wonder on low rpm. The mods you have all change airflow and throw off part throttle fuel curves. The fact that it didnt start until 4k miles later suggests something else though.

I would look for a minor air leak after the MAF. See if the intake manifold bolts are loose or the TB bolts. The couplers can be tweaked too. Check the air tube going to the coupler and the valley to intake hose.

The minor airflow leak will not affect higher rpm performance much other than a command for possibly more fuel since the air intake at higher rpms makes an airleak so much less in percent than the overall volume of air comming in.

If you are in NY and want to drive over I will scan it and check all of the above for free. Im not selling anything. On a scan, it will show a sudden increase in cylinder airmass just prior to an increase in rpm (a hesitation before seeing a rise in rpm)
