Corvette garage is $399.00 I think that is alittle steep considering I paid $260.00 shipped for my C4.

He's looking to spend under $300.00

You get what you pay for. Sub $300 drilled and slotted rotors on a $45+++ car is not the way to go IMHO. For that price you can almost guarantee they come from China, and are complete junk.

True, you do get what you pay for but I'm not along with many others going to pay one price for something then get them somewhere else at a lower price when it's the same item and doesn't have a "brembo" sticker on it.

I purchsed the Baer Eradispeeds (drilled and slotted) and would not do so again. Check out the stoptechs with slots only. Those will be my next rotors.

Well, I'm just telling you.....sub $300 (for all 4) drilled and slotted rotors WILL come form China and WILL be junk. Let me know if you find different.

Pont up a few extra bucks and get the Corvettte Garage Brembo blanks. They are what you are asking for and really the price is fantastic. Had mine for several months now and just love em.

check out what this months HOT ROD magazine has to say about drilled rotors. NOt good. It''s a two page layout and they claim all drilled rotors have a tendency to crack and the only reason most people get them is for looks. According to HR the newer rotors without drilling gives you all the breaking power you need. The hot and cold driving of the average driver is bad for the slotted and drilled rotors. Interesting article.

Check out Rotor Pros. They sell high quality drilled and slotted rotors for a very good price. I have had them on my C5 daily driver for a year now and they look great

He went with the corvettegarage.com rotors.

Since were on this topic, has anyone here changed their rotors. What all tools does he need. Size, etc. to change these.

He also got new z06 repo's so we will be doing it all at the same time. Should make a big difference.

On a side note, I got Drilled/slotted for my C4 from Whole Sale Direct Parts through a group buy on the forum. I paid $260.00 shipped. They still brand new with about 500 miles on them. See my page for pics.
