I too am concerned about the heavy summer rains in SE FL. This is why I looked into everything out there and went with this solution. The K&N Aircharger and Free Air Mod. All for under $280

I notice a big difference in performance.

What's the point of adding horse power if it destroys your engine in the process.

you are like the 10 others who cant install. and all hp will detroy not just your engine. i was at a car meet last night a guy came up in a very nice viper. he came over to look at my c6 and LS1LT1 c6 . him and his buddy both have c6's. he told me the viper is 10 years old with only 9000 miles on it. he asked what i ran. told him, he asked what gave me the most improvement. i said vr and spacer. he said mind opening the hood so i can see it. i did. he looked and said i am buying one tommorow cant look or fit that bad

and if you are going to bash vr take it off of your mods list

And again, you took great pictures of it! Piece of cake--K&N quality, good old American logic in getting cold air to it. And I even got rid of two drain popup rods in the process! To think, my wife says I keep too much junk...

Default 2007 C6 -Halltech Stinger Venom Intake/ Re-tune?

I have a 2007 C6/A6 and I want to get the Halltech Stinger Venom Intake. Will I have to get the car re-tuned to run this intake properly or is it just a bolt-on?
Also, does Halltech offer a cold air kit for this?
Did you feel SOP difference after install?

Mr. Efg,

FYI, I provided my inputs on your other thread. Tuning is not necessary with the Venom/ Vette-Air combo, although more performnance can be had if and when you decide to tune.

Thanks,
Carlos

PS, no worries of rain with our products
