Can I add 5 gal. of leaded racing fuel to a tank of gas without damaging emisions parts?
NO! The cats will be destroyed with any lead in the gas, even a gallon of leaded will do it. Plus, I believe, the O2 sensors. Get unleaded racing fuel.
Just had this conversation with a buddy of mine yesterday. Leaded will eat cats but if catless it will still ruin 02 sensors in a few gallons of leaded fuel.
My question is has anyone seen, via track times or dyno numbers, what power increase can be had with 100 octane unleaded race fuel in a C6? This of course would give great benefit to those boosted cars, but basic bolt on cars is the gain noticeable?

Most tunes assume no more than 93 octane. Unless you tune to take advantage of it, added octane (detonation resistance) will not get you better performance.
And if you are gonna pour in paint store additives, use toluene. Nothing but carbon and hydrogen, so it won't foul you plugs, O2 sensors, CATS (if you have them) etc. Gasoline already contains some toluene, so you are just changing the ratio of the 114 octane part.
Its a misconception people have that you cant run leaded gas. There are some types of leaded gas that you cant run, a leaded gas with a bunch of additives will ruin your 02 sensors and clog your cats. But I have run lots of gallons of Sunoco M02X which is a leaded 112 in my Cobra and had zero issues. You could also run a leaded 116 from Sunoco which is called Maximal and that one is even better. Otherwise just get 100 or 104 unleaded.
Duman, you'll be fine with that 100 octane from 76. I didnt know they had 100 in LB
