Default lowering c6 help please

Tried lowering my car with the aftermarket bolts but cannot seem to get the lower control arm down in the front to allow me to replace the factory spring bolt with the aftermarket one to lower the car.

Anyone done this install already or know where to find detailed instructions on how this is done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

actually it did not remove the upper control arm. Is this necessary to drop the lower control arm?

You have to break it with a ball joint fork..be careful you will most likley damage the boot..the problem is you cannot buy just the boot from GM, you have to buy the whole assembly

Default I just dropped the lower A arm

you also have to unbolt the sway arm connection if you havent already, then on the cam portion of the a arms use a big flat blade screwdriver and gently pry down. the a arm will literally fall down, get your tools and flashlight out of the way. If you took a picture of the front cam setting before you took the bolt out then you can return it to the same place on reinstall, and you will sort of be in alignment.

I know, I've had to do it twice, the first set of aftermarket bolts had the quarter size stop that the neoprene wore off of in 3 weeks, metal to metal is a bad sound.
