It's nice to see some folks can relate to what I'm thinking about. I have not yet made up my mind....I've actually contacted some folks with a C5Z for sale.

At the same time I've continued my research on what I'd like to do to my C6.

The SMART thing to do financially would be to get the Z...reason is the cost is cheaper. It's already faster, mods are cheaper, and I'd have more money for mods as it is.

The 2nd smartest thing to do financially is to keep what I have and wait for the C7. I have no clue as of the C7 status, but I know it'll be here before we know it. Then I'll be like everyone else and will probably want the new base model 465 - 495 ish HP C7. With all the upgraded this and that.

The 2008's are an interesting choice if I went that route. The Dyno numbers are showing quite a powerful engine...however, I don't see it being something I wanna do.

Always something bigger and better out there. It's just not often that on older car can outperform and keep a certain mystique about it in the face of the new models.

As put before...I wish I could own 'em both!
