The t-stats for the LS2's are all basically the same. Any brand will do. Expect to pay about $22-$26 for it.

I have a 160* on my C5Z & think it helps a little bit. The only thing I don't like about is the loud fan comes on every 30 seconds it seems, no matter the outside temp. It can be 20* outside and it still comes on all the time. I probably should have went with a 178*-180* T.Stat instead.
That's what I'm going to get in my C6.

i hate to tell you the stat has nothing to do with your fan kicking on every 30 sec. if you have a tune, that could be the cause of it.
