Carolina Auto Masters, or the short drive to MTI Racing in Atlanta. Both well respected.

I'm getting ready to take my cars to Carolina Auto Masters in Durham, NC for some mods. as soon as my headers come in. Jeff Creech is the owner and has been very responsive to all my questions. He comes highly recommended by other members. He's just down the street from you! I do not believe you will find anybody specifically in Charlotte, NC. I've already looked. Jeff's shop is about a 2 hr. drive from my home in Lynchburg, VA.

The email address is carolinaautomasters.com.

Good luck with your mods. What kind of HP gain are you looking for and do you have a prelimunary list of what you want to do? I'm doing a mild cam, pushrods and double springs by CAM, Kook's headers, X-Crossover, High flow cats to stock mufflers, Honker Cold Air Intake, Underdrive Pulley, and a Tune. We are expecting between 80-85 RWHP gain.

Carolina Auto Masters seems to be the one, was hoping to find someone in Charlotte. I have an engine light on and know it is running rich. As it is not an emmission engine in this car, I do not have all the adjustments on a C6. The wire harness and ECU we got from Speartech out in AZ. Just have about 225 miles on it so far, getting it all together. Just want to make sure the engine is running OK and all this computer stuff is new to me. Thanks for the tip. Tim

Thanks for the tip, just trying to get it running right, see post above. This computer stuff is new to me on cars, I guess I need to get some sort of software to connect to the OBD II to see what is going on. Thanks for the reccomendation. Tim

I believe there is a tuner very close to Charlotte by the name of Nick Williams. I was given his name when I was looking to do some mods. I can't remember what the name of his shop is but I remember he was in the western part of the state.

MTI Racing in Marietta, Ga. tuned my 2006 C6 (Cartek H/C Package with 460RWHP and 4.10's) in December. Extremely satisfied.

If you don't feel like driving to Durham, try Williams Performance - Mooresville, NC, 704-658-2302. He's done LS1 and LS2 work for a couple friends and they rave about him.

Also Alvin Anderson of PCM for Less works near the speedway and he is a pretty good tuner. 704-307-4227. All he does is tune.

Jeff Creech of CAM in Durham is also a top flight tuner and engine builder. Awful nice guy and very honest.

Either Nick Williams or Jeff will be doing my cam and head work in the near future.

Yes he is being highly reccomended by other CF members as well. It is about 60 miles from me, I might have to find a non highway route to get there. Still working out the bugs from the build. Thanks Tim
