Default Wiring through the firewall

I'm about to install a Blinder laser jammer and I was wondering how or where to run the wiring through the firewall. Can anyone offer any suggestions? This is for a C6 ZO6.

Default Firewall entry

I pulled the rug down on the drivers side and found a spot between the clutch and brake pedals. Since the drill would not fit between the pedals I used a 12 inch drill bit extention. The bit locks into it with an allen. I think I used something like a 1/4 bit. It exits out near the steering shaft and ran the wires through and put it into a flexible black loom from Radio Shack. Seal with a little silicone.I put in the Passport that has both lazer and radar receivers in the front grill. Use a mini add a fuse to a switchable fuse under the passenger footwell and your set. Do a search and you'll find pictures of the fuse tap. Good luck.

FWIW, I would recommend making a slightly larger opening, say 1/2 inch, becuase if you are pushing one set of wires through the firewall, there will probably be others to follow.

You can seal it using an appropriately sized rubber grommet that you have to puncture to get the wire(s) through.

I ran my amp power leads on the passenger side just above and to the right of the fuse panel. Gotta take the battery out if you want to put it there though.

That is the same place I used. There is a factory boot that you can "fish" a wire through.

Again you need to remove the battery to gain access.

i drilled a hole right where the hood latch cables go thru. then you can run your wires down the a pillar and it all behind trim panels with easy access

I ran my Shift Light between the inner and outter fender below the top door hindge on the passenger's side. No drilling required and it comes out by the battery and fuse box.
