Hi all, I apologize for posting a thread about a topic that has probably been exhausted, but what are the benefits of purchasing and using hand held tuners such as the Predator? I have a '07 C6, A6, Z51.....
Thanks.............

Reason: grammar issue
While you can certainly get a more precise tune by having it put on a dyno - every car is different - the hand held gives you the freedom to tweak your own settings from those as simple as the cooling fan settings to fuel mix and injector slopes. You also have the ability to put it back to stock any time you decide to take it into the dealer.
I did some mods to my 07 C6 A6 (Callaway Honker, Kooks headers, x-pipe w/hi-flow cats, Borla Touring back end, and a 160 deg.thermostat) and am currently running the Predator Diablo Tune with some bumps to the fans setting and am very pleased; also running about 10 - 12 degress cooler.
One other advantage is that the Predator doubles as a OBDII code reader w/reset ability
