Your stock coils are fine. Swith over if your spinning her over 7000 RPM'S, or your going for the bling.
And what about FI applications? I understand the MSD coil offers multiple sparks per ignition stroke below approx 3000 RPM, and a single hotter spark above 3000 RPM. With high cylinder pressures, would the MSD provide any improvement?
If you start a forest fire with a match or a blow tourch doesn't the fire still start? Once the spark is introduced to the combustion mixture it's on auto pilot. It doesn't make any difference how much spark is introduced, just that it is.. My coils are stock, and my 05 C6 with a 427 makes 525rwhp with stock coils. Lets see... pretty red coils for $750 ,
