Default programming the C6

Please advise of the type of program used to change the factory settings on my C6. Can the program be installed on a Laptop or would a unit such as Superchips be used. I am interested in the fan settings for the lower thermostat. also what are the Hardware requirements. Regards, Dblais

Either approach would get you what you want. Programming software such as HPTuners, or EFILive will always have many more parameters than a hand held programmer. The choice is really up to you, but if you start doing more and more modifications (cam/heads) you'll be beyond the abilities of the hand helds.

As far as hardware, you don't need anything thing special when it comes to the laptop to tune. Our "shop" tuning laptop is now 4 years old, and even back then it was no where near top of the line. It's still a champ, you know how many times I've dropped it?
