Default DTE Stage II installed today

DTE Stage II with 4.10 gear ratio was installed today. Very happy with the results. Sixth gear finally has power.

Also installed the brace kit.

Now I need to put 350 miles on it so I can open it up.

Thanks to Tom Wong's Performance for the install.

Looks good and I see you got the right man to do the work. But why just 350 miles? Is that enough or is that what DTE says, which is good enough for me!!! Good luck with it.

I live near the People's Republic of Portland. Havana is where my favorite cigars come from.

The DTE warrenty says 350 miles so I'm going to respect their requirements. I've already gone a little over 100 and plan to put the rest on by Saturday. Then I'll really let you know how it feels.

Question: After the initial break in period is a return visit to the shop required?

Nice Let us know how you run at the strip. Smart move with the DTE DIFF strut brace. I'm doing the exact same mods in feb 2008, if you don't mind me asking -what was total outlay$$ w/ labor??

Thanks

Thanks...up here in the Great White North the shops still think there's no free trade agreement and believe our dollar is still only worth $0.60 US.
I've been crossing the border to get work done. For a 6hr drive I can save a couple of thousand on mods. Good thing is by the time I get back....the break in period will almost be over!
