Who has the best price for these shocks? I've seen 629-700$ online. Which vender can you trust?

I just bought mine from LAPD a forum vendor for $629. I met Al and Shawn, who were very helpful.

What is the difference between stock Z51 shocks and Koni's? and do you have to lower the car to use them or do they come with stock height?
I should take delivery of my 08 Z51 in two weeks.
