Default Z06 brake upgrade

Will the C6 Z06 brakes fit on a stock C6 with spacers or do I need to upgrade the wheels to 19 and 20?

You'll need about 1/2". Someone, think it could have been in Great Britian, did it and posted pics.

The diameter of the C6 and C6Z wheels are the same, but the "set back" is different. The different offset will make your stock wheels hit the Z06 calipers.

Here's what usually happens:

1. Change brakes to Z06.
2. Wheels replaced because offset causes interferrence
3. Wider wheels will require '"wide body kit" (Wider tires too!)
4. Paint wide body kit
5. Aww heck, just paint the whole car!
6. Discover you've thrown almost $9000 into this
7. Check into a big brake kit that'll out perform the stock Z06 units, and not have to change your whole friggen car!

FWIW the Z51 brakes fit...
