05 Z51 Coupe: 476/438 dynojet SAE corrected with CAI, Kooks LTs, stock catback, ported FAST+TB, 224/228 cam, ported 243 heads with LS6 valves and patriot springs, tune by Charlie W. Oh, these numbers are through 4.10 gears and 18in drag radials

06 Z: no dyno numbers yet.

I am sure the tuner was legit on it's dyno run. We might very well have an anomoly here, but still far fetched..

I tend to agree and supposedly the car was not tuned by anyone prior to them bringing it to Straightline but I am not sure. Maybe the OP can verify this.

No one but GM has supposedly tuned it thus far. I suppose the only way to really quantify the actual power is to take it to the track and see what it will run compared to a car with the same mods (almost stock) and run them side by side on the same night.

Honestly, I could care less whether the OP's car has more HP than it should, although I am happy for him. I just did not think it was fair for anyone to give Straightline a hard time when all they were asked to do was to dyno and tune the car. It's all good, let's hug it out and go home happy.

My 2006 M6 with Vararam and Callaway axle back made 325 rwhp right on the nose, on a mustang dyno. I feel my car is either a total slug, which its not backed up at the track by a 12.1 on street tires, or dyno numbers mean nothing more then that numbers. To me my car is extremely low compared to almost all cars posted here.

472RWHP 444RWTQ...........Corsa exhaust only mod.

The GT on the other hand is over 700RWHP & takes a lot of finess to get rolling good without going up in smoke. I truly believe my Z06 would take the GT in 1/8 mile because of this.
