I'm doing the Z06 brake upgrade and am wondering if anyone has instructions on how to do it. I actually would like to have TQ specs on the bolts and the banjo fittings.
[QUOTE=runutzzzzz;1561601362]I'm doing the Z06 brake upgrade and am wondering if anyone has instructions on how to do it. I actually would like to have TQ specs on the bolts and the banjo fittings.
I've mocked up Z06 brakes on my base car but did not install yet, still looking for wheels. What wheels do you plan to use?
Here are 2005 Y Car manual base / Z51 Torque Specs, Front & Rear:
Caliper Bracket to Spindle - 125 lbft
Caliper Inlet Fitting - 33 lbft
I think these torques would apply to the Z06 setup also; but, that Banjo fitting into an aluminum housing torque seems a lot to me, when I do this job I'll probably error just a touch on the low side.
