You could remove the belt to the Procharger.

First you could start by posting in the right forum, geez man... I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Actually the LSx motors all seem to have this sound by design. In fact, it gets worse with cam, etc. upgrades. My suggestion is to get an intake and louder exhaust to drown it out. Oh yeah, looks like you have a procharger, pulley that up and it will mask the sound

How about sound proofing options? Heavier floor mats, etc?

You should try one of the sound insulation kits from Crazy Cowboy on this forum, I had one in my 02 Z and it made a HUGE difference in the noises coming from underhood such as the ping from headers, etc.

I wonder if like, Dynamatting the valve covers would help any. I know Dynamat maybe cant take the heat, butmaybe some similar product that will withstand the heat?
