06 C6 Driver contemplating getting a 08 !

Ive got my 06 brand new 2 years ago and love it ! I got some mods as well like LT Headers , High Flow Cats,X-Pipe,Varam,Corsa-Xtreme,and TB spacer !
But I cant help but feel that I should of waited for the 08 ! Even though my vette will outperform a stock 08 , I can only imagine what a 08 would be like with the same mods ! Sorry if I'm rambling !

But, you've enjoyed your car for two years now. We have very simular set-ups, though I have an '05. IMO not worth taking the hit. Will enjoy what I have and wait for the C7.

When is the C7 supposed to be out ? 2011 ? ???
If its atleast 3 years away I got one word for you LS3!

As A C5Z owner this LS3 motor is awesome to me...

Wait for the C7 unless you're going to make a move to the Z06....there's not enough difference right now and if you just have to spend money, put it on some more mods.The $$ spent on swapping up to an 08 would possibly be more than a few good mods and will give you instant gratification, and since you're already contemplating modding the LS3, you'd be really taking a hit.

Why don't you just get heads and cam for your car? .2 L of displacement doen't make THAT big of a difference. Weren't peak LG numbers for the LS2 within 15-20hp of peak LS3 with the LG packages(H/C)? You're telling me you'd rather have 390rwhp than 490rwhp? You already have the exhaust so you could have that setup for what like 4k? I guarantee you'll lose more than that on a trade and have a slower car.
