Default Predator U7194 question

Need some help from the experts here.

I have a Predator U7194 that I had to purchase in order for my installer of my Vortech supercharger to tune my C6 A6. As I understand it, in order for another car to use the predator, I would have to return my car back to stock.

My question is if I return my car back to stock and remove the vin number from the predator, can this unit be sold so another C6 can use it? Thanks

Yes, that's correct. Just use the Predator to retune your vehicle back to stock and it can be used to program another car. However, is the Predator coming with a tune installed for your Vortech? If so I'd call Diablosports tech support to ensure it will have programs for non-supercharged cars.

Ditto. I would call them to confirm, but that is my understanding as well. I would keep it and have the new tune stored in the Preditor just in case you loose the data in the computer on the car.

Default ???

I hope your not thinking of selling the tool to a friend who wants a deal on one now that you don't think you need it anymore??? It is still a very valuable tool to you! even more so, now that you've moded the car! leave it "married" to your car you will be happy you did! IMHO
