Got Car Back From Tuner...oh Yea!!
'07 A6 w/paddle shift
Kooks LT's
Hi-Flow Cats
Corsa Sport cat back exhaust
Otherwise completely stock.
Told Lar that I wanted his tune w/dyno and his "tune" if you will on the trans to make the shifts less sluggish.
This is what I got back within 7 hours.
Oh , another thing. It is quick, smooth, lays a real healthy patch in
2nd and is overall very fast!!
Dyno reads 365 RWHP and 360 Max. Torque. Conditions were 89*F, 29.25 in.-Hg., 47% hum., 1.04 SAE.
Larry discussed what I wanted, guided me, schooled me on my past bolt ons and how they will "play" into my future mods. He was completely proffesional from my initial email inquiry through picking up my car. I would Highly suggest that anybody in my area of the Northwest suburbs of Chicago go to Speed Inc. Do not pass go!
Also Larry will save me money as well 'cause the mods that he has in mind in the future will not cost nearly what I had planned on spending. Nothin' but class! I have a real
every time I drive this new and improved version!Fran

Supervette83, why aren't you on the 1/4 mile list? You ran 11.81, right?

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
It's a dry heat man!!
Lose 30-40HP in high temps? Get more mods!! Then when it cools down, voila!
Instant happiness! Yea, hoping to have fun for sure this weekend, now that we 're done with the monsoon season we had ALL last week!!
Have fun and be safe

Those are some real great #'s! Me and my 2 oldest boys been kickin' it around as we've been at Union Grove, Byron and Joliet with various cars we have owned in the past. On the drag radials, any problems/issues I should be aware of? Any issues with the tire pressure sensors? Do you use street leagals or do you change tires at the track? I have heard that it's probably better to leave car in "S" and not use the paddles during the run. Thanks for any input. Great!!! Now i'm in!!! This is all your fault Supervette!!

Sent Lar an email last night and we are already set for discussing next mods in about a month.
He is a real good guy and knows his stuff. Probably seen you sometime or other as I'm in Streamwood area on Bartlett Rd, 59, etc. every day. If we have I always wave! Hey we are in a club right??
Have fun and be safe. Fran
Forgot to answer on the TM. I have to admit that I'm not really sure. I just told Lar of my feeling that the shifts in all gears were pretty sluggish. He said that he would be able to get them where I'd be sure that I'd feel the snap and of course get some.... rubber in 2nd! It is possible that he deleted the TM as I can get solid rubber with computer in full traction control mode. I figure that if he had not deleted TM I would not get that reaction in 1st to 2nd. Any thoughts?

he probably did delete tm on yours too because mine didn't snap into 2nd and burn rubber until he did this step after the initial tune. The tm delete option was not out at the time of the header install and 1st tune.

Yea, sounds like he did the same. Kinda embarrased that I didn't know though!! Will be less excited and more inquisative next time..... WRONG!!!!!
