Finally got to install my American Racing Headers with stock mufflers and have developed a rather annoying resonance while cruising 62-75 mph and in gear while at a stop. The resonance seems to be coming from the rear so I assume it is the mufflers provoking this. I am going to check that they are not rubbing against the body/frame after the install of course, but are their any suggestions as to what my options are for good quiet mufflers that will eliminate the resonance or at least improve it.

not with the stock mufflers must be a clamp or something rubbing the frame, plus you wouldn't get the drone at idle stopped
That's kind of what I was thinking, (clamp, etc..) I'll check it out. Thanks for the replys
Atomic,
Sorry to hear of your problem. It's always a bummer when something like this happens. I have a different setup: Kooks headres, Hi-flow cats and Corsa Sports exhaust and have no problem with resonence/drone as of yet. Installed about 2 weeks ago. I'm agreeing with Dennis that it probably is something else. I hope that's what it is as these systems are pretty awsome regardless of manufacturer. Keep pluggin away at investigating and you'll come up with a solution Good luck.
