I've got Stingers now and plan LG long tubes shortly. I've heard that combo and to me it seems like most the volume comes from the Stingers, not the headers. So yes, they do get louder, but it's like an 80/20 split. 80% of volume from Stingers, 20% from headers. At least from what I've heard... 3 weeks and I can tell you from personal experience!
so the borla touring is good choice with long tubes for those who
don't want too loud?
BASSANI!They don't get alot of mention on here compared to the more mainstream popular ones like BORLA,B+B,ETC,But they are every bit as good sounding,if not better than all those! No drone to speak of,either, and for less money!!!I was quoted 850-950 shipped!!
The problem with bassani is that the it is not a true bolt on system. Some kind of cutting and welding has to be done in order for the system to fit the C6 coupe and even the one for the C6 Z06. I spoke with the owner, and he told me that if one places the system and wishes to go back to stock, you will have to do some welding or just purchase the new cat plus exhaust that bolts on to the H-pipe.
Sounds bad ***, but don't believe in cutting in welding.
I like my Corsa Sports. I would try to meet up with some local people to hear different exhausts in person.
Keep in mind that Corsa just came out with a new exaust for the C6 coupe, called the "Corsa Xtreme" It is much louder and bolder! The only problem is that corsa has not yet updated their website to reflect this new product. I heard about it on WCC.
I have the corsa exhaust on my C6 Z06 and I am very happy with the sound that it makes.
