I wonder if covering up the top of the intake area with something would cut down on the dust getting in the engine bay.

Something like this http://www.nakidparts.com/id35.html

I really like that idea......and it looks like a nice product.

Although the filter on my Halltech Killer Bee barely fits under the hood as it is. So I'm not sure it will work.

I've emailed them to see if they make a shroud cover that will fit on a 2008 with the Halltech intake.

more dust? I guess I haven't noticed this. I've been running the VA on my z06 for several months now. But I do routinely wipe down the engine compartment when I wash, just with a damp towel. No other products.

nakidparts.com emailed me back......they said that they make a shroud cover for the LS3 with the Killer Bee, but they are out of stock.

I emailed the again.......asking them if they were SURE that their shroud cover would fit on the LS3, because my Killer Bee intake BARELY fits under the hood as it is.

That was last night.
I haven't heard back yet.

I have the Vette-Air/Halltech Venom CAI combo on my 06 and I really like the set up.

Modshack whose link to his pictures is posted above has the Vette-Air/Halltech Killer Bee on his car and he likes the set up as well.
