Default 12 Volt Accessory Wire for Back-up Camera

Can anyone tell me where I can find a 12 Volt accessory wire on my '06 C6 that I can use to hookup my Back-up Camera? Preferably one that I can get to easily and tap in to. Thanks.

Seat heater fuse is the only ignition switched fuse I could find. It's in the fusebox in the passenger footwell and easy to find. You can buy an tap-a-fuse adaptor or do it the old school way of tucking a wire underneath the fuse blade.

Good luck with your project. I have a camera in my wife's minivan and it's really handy to have.

Here's what I did...for my radar detector ...but you can use this for any ignition switched 12v accessory.

I used the heated seat circuit which is only on while the motor is running and I also was able to ground the lead under the screw fastening the left hand module.
I used a "mini add a circuit" from Littlefue that I got at Autozone for ~ $6.oo.It allows you to piggy back two fuses in one fuse opening and provide a pigtail for the hookup.
You can run the wire behind the passenger side kick panel and up the door pillar between the rubber gasket and the a pillar trim and then underneath the windshield header to where ever you want to mount the detector.
You can see the wire for the detector running behind the passenger kick panel in the lower left of the first photo.
The Pic is high res so you can blow it up for more detail.
Be sure to follow the instruction for the "add a Circuit" to insure you have the fuse protection afforded by the unit.
Photos below are for a C6.
If you need the photos, emmail me and I'll send them by email.
Hope this helps,
Pat

Thanks everyone. I ended up using the heated seat fuse and got everything to work fine. I appreciate the input.
