Hi all, according to the Diablo manual, you can vary rpm shift points, mph up and downshifts, shift timing, and shift pressure. Has anyone played with these parameters and gotten the A6 to perform better?, if so what are your settings? Thanks in Advance!
Good question. A while back I read the manual and it said you can also reduce or eliminate Torque Management as well. Turned out that for the A6 that's in the works and will be out "soon". Or is it all ? I bet that anything to do with the A6 TCM is not ready yet.
I downloaded the Predator Performance tune into my A6 and it appears to me to have shorten the delay with the paddle shifters. I can tell you for sure there is not a 2-sec delay. Has anyone else experienced this? Since I didn't use the paddle shifters that much before I uploaded the tune, I can't give a good comparison.
Mike had said it was getting close. 2-3 weeks out.. that was at the beginning of August!!
Hopefully it will be out soon. I know HP Tuners already has it on it's arsenal.
In my C5, the predator could tune out TM, as well as adjsut all shift points, shift pressure, etc.. It worked REALLY WELL.
I am hoping Mike and his crew at Diablo get this done soon. The update was also to contain the ability to reprogram for a different rear ratio. This would also be the same as the U7193 model for the 04-05 vettes... model for the 06/07 vettes is U7194. They recently (8/1) added header tunes as well as 91 octane tunes in there as well.
I for one am still waiting on the A6 adjustments as well as TM..
