Default header situation

i ordered jba headers but now i dont know what to do. i heard that the pipes are to skinny restricting flow. need info asap thanks.

What size are the pipes ? If they're at least 1 3/4" - 1 7/8's I'd say they are prob fine.

I hope you mean 1 5/8" in diameter. Most header fabricators are using 1 3/4" tubes for the LS2.

more on the headers. please what do i do good bad . will other headers perform significantly better. asap please for i might have a chance to cancel order

LG Motorsport just did a test with 1 3/4 vs 1 7/8 primay tubes and the smaller tubes were superior. 1 5/8 will certainly outperform your stock exhaust, but may not be the very best.
Most experts think that a stepped header 1 5/8-1 3/4-1 7/8 with a merge collector is the optimum header for a 6-7L motor operating in the 4-7000 rpm range, but this is running without cats or mufflers.
