Default H Pipe or X Pipe

I have the Corsa Touring X pipe on my 07 AW Coupe that was on my 06 Vert. I would like a little more sound with the Coupe than I wanted with the Vert. Corsa Sport X Pipe is expensive. I can buy a stock H Pipe very reasonable.

Is there any performance difference between the two that I could feel SOTP? Or only at the track?

Thanks

I like H-pipe sound...it's a little deeper. That being said, it also flows slightly less efficiantly than an X-pipe.

Put your stock H-pipe back on the car. It will get a little louder.

If you put the H pipe on now,you will always have the X pipe on your mind and eventually break down and put it on anyway.
Do the X now-not later.
I'll betcha!!!!!!!!!!!!

H pipe does not flow as well . X pipe allows for a smoother exhaust flow
.on the h pipe exhaust has to make 90 degree turn . on the x pipe it does not have such an abrupt angle. look at it and in your mind picture x and h exhaust flow. either one is great they help balance exhaust pressure.

ps. go with x scrap the h

correct me if im wrong

You will notice ZERO difference in performance with either. The H pipe will give you a little more crackle on decel than the X pipe. Email Corsa's technical sales on their website(Paul). He'll probably tell you the same thing. Of course they will also tell you that you will get 10-12 rwhp with a catback, which I don't believe for a second.

I purchased a stock H pipe from atomicC6 and he even delivered it this morning. Thanks Shaun

I will put it on and keep the corsa x pipe. Maybe I can have the baffels removed if I feel it is needed.

Thanks for the replies.
