I have 4.10s in my MN6 '05 coupe and I love them. I now have a 6th gear that is usable on the highway and from 45mph up; I used to have to be in 5th gear at 45mph to keep from lugging the engine.
I lost ~2.5 mpg but cruising at 75mph in 6th gear is still a respectable 28.5-29 mpg with the engine turning at 1950 rpm.
With all of your other mods, I would opt for the gears and get the ported FAST on your next round of mods.

410's are awesome, you will absolutely love them, they make a HUGE difference!! I enjoyed the 410's sotp almost as much as the supercharger sotp when I had them installed.

4.10's for sure huge Sotp feel. I installed the fast 90 one month ago, also an amazing mod, you will feel the difference, but not like the 4.10's, read my profile on mods..The fast 90 should be a definite mod to compliment the cam regardless which mod you go with.
I started thinking that maybe I should go for the 4.10's instead of the ported FAST, they are within $200 in price installed.
I'm thinking you are paying way too much for that fast. Intake is an easy swap on our motors, and Spinmonster now told us how to mod the FAST for our cars for a very low price. See Spinmonster's latest post #95.
I had a set installed on the 24th by corvetts of Westchester ( Chuck ) and a tune an love the combo. It's a different car! Give them a call ( service is second to none )
I love my 4.10 gears, they make a huge difference in they way the car drives, I would recommend them over the intake. The gears feel like more than the 20 hp the intake would likely give you.

Give the guys at Vengeance racing a call, they are an installer of our transmissions and differentials and they do a great job! Ask for Ron, just tell him that T.J. sent you.

What would it cost to have the 4.10's w/upgrades installed in a '05 M6? I'm going to have this done soon and I've already talked to DTE in Indy (approx. $2K with hardened shafts and some other upgrades) and ECS in NJ (approx. $1700 for the same set-up).
