Just got it installed last Friday{on My A6},so I have to keep My foot of the gas for about 300 miles duing the "break-in" period!!
Unitrax did the build!
I can already feel the "rush" start to kick in with just a "little" pedal!!
I'll let You all know how it is after it's broken-in!
George
George,
pls post your opinion on the traction difference with the new gears (when you can). I think the 3.15s would really wake the A6 up...........I'm worried about the traction situation being worse. I really leaned on my car this weekend at the Texas Mile (see vettealot's post), I knew I had a traction problem, but I didn't know how bad it was....you have more back tire then I do (alot more). I'm jealous, I"ll bet it's even more fun to drive.
Steve,..I have to look for the "post" You referring to!
I will definetly let You know how it feels to "stomp on it" after the break-in period!!
I'll be driving it later just to put some miles on it!!{make the break in faster}

Since I originally gave you a recommendation to purchase the 3.15 differential , I feel compelled to help you with the break in . It's my duty to help out a fellow Corvette lover and enthusiasts . Oh wait , never mind , I just remembered that 510 HP is TOO MUCH for me !!!
But , I know that you are going to enjoy them . I hope that you have some BIG TIRES on the back , you're going to need them ! As always , best wishes ... Larry R. Quinn
Thanks Spear!!
I notice that You have the '08 with the 2.73's!
How do You like 'em!?
The great thing about the new model year is that it was a $395 option , it was a difference from the regular 2.56 axle, not a huge difference, but something worth $395 for sure, and I get to keep my factory warranty.
but I'd love to see your numbers once you break it in.
